At the age of 25, Lauren Mitrick has captured the Second City's attention and established a reputation of getting the deal done. A driven, self-starter in the hyper-competitive Chicago real estate market, she was named one of Chicago's Who's Who in Chicago Agent Magazine's 2008 Powerhouse issue.
Lauren was the youngest woman to be named President of the Women's Council of Realtors (WCR) for the Chicago chapter. During her term, she significantly increased the amount of new members while hosting various industry seminars and networking events.
Mitrick has written numerous articles for publications that have sought out her expert opinion on the industry and was solicited for strategic thinking by the Chicago Association of REALTORS — the fourth largest board in the country.
LAKE GENEVA EQUESTRIAN CENTER
Lake Geneva Equestrian Center (LGEC) is going to be a "world class" equestrian show facility for AA rated horseshows sanctioned by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and starting Spring 2010. In addition to the Grand Prix Arena, Jumper Arena and 4 Show Arenas, LGEC will build a proper and traditional "Hunt Field" designed by seven-time Course Designer of the Year Award winner, Richard Jeffery. In the classic tradition, the footing will be turf and many of the jumps will be permanent and natural features. The Derby Field will be designed to also accommodate a Jumper Derby utilizing the same turf footing and natural features.
Lake Geneva Equestrian Center will host special events during the horseshows that will provide entertainment for families, community members and tourists. Many events in the Grand Prix Arena and Hunt Field will have a charity benefactor and tickets will be sold on behalf of the charity.
